How To Save Electricity During Winter



Reduce usage of room heaters: Open your curtains during the day to allow sunlight to naturally heat up your home, and close them at night.

Use LED lights: Light emitting diodes, or LEDs, are at least 75% more efficient and last up to 25 times longer than traditional lights. By using LED holiday lights, you can be at ease knowing that you won’t be spending  a fortune to light up your home.



Avoid hot water for washing clothes:  Wash clothes in cold water. This will prevent your washing machine from consuming excessive electricity.
